Is Hydro PlantTech safe for all bikes?
Yes. Hydro PlantTech is non caustic and safe across every type of bike, from road and gravel to mountain and e-bikes. It works gently on frames, drivetrains, brakes, decals, and rubber seals, so you can clean confidently without worrying about damage.
Do I need a pressure washer to use it?
No. Hydro PlantTech is designed to work with the Hydro V2 Spray Bottle using our snow foaming tech, no pressure washer or foam lance needed. Just pump, spray, and let the formula do the work.
Will Hydro PlantTech damage my chain lube or drivetrain?
No. The formula lifts dirt and trail muck without aggressively stripping chain lube or damaging drivetrain components. For best results, finish with Hydro AWLube after washing to re-protect your chain and keep shifting smooth.
How much product do I need per wash?
Mix at a 9:1 dilution. That's 900ml water to 100ml Hydro PlantTech in your Hydro V2 Spray Bottle. One bottle goes a long way, so you'll get plenty of washes per litre.
How long do I leave it on the bike?
Apply all over and leave to dwell for 3-5 minutes. The formula clings to dirt and lifts grime from every component. For heavier muck, agitate gently with the Hydro Bike Brush Set, then rinse off thoroughly.
