IN THIS WEEKS GUIDE:
WHY IS IS IMPORTANT TO LOOK AFTE YOUR ALLOYS:
So let's get into the nitty gritty, cleaning your alloys can be dirty work but the end result is worth every second. Your alloys are the only part of the vehicle that touches the road so this means that they are prone to all the salt, dirt, grime and brake dust. These contaminants over a long period of time can be very damaging as they will eat through the protective layers and into the aluminium alloy. Most alloys are finished with a paint protection however some alloys are at more risk of damage such as bare metal and chrome plated alloys. So making sure we keep on top of our alloys is very important.
Cleaning your alloys properly and staying up to date with maintaining this will make your life easier when it comes round to doing your weekly or monthly clean. Choosing the right chemicals and equipment will be a huge part of this process and will ultimately reward you in the long run.
The final thing is your tyres, making sure you clean your tyres at the same time could be the make or break of how on point your car is looking, never skip this step! None of us like having dirty shoes right, so why should we have dirty wheels? Listed below is a few products that will help keep your alloys looking like they are fresh out the showroom.

Must Have Products For Clean Alloys
Let's get to it, in this section we will guide you through the step by step process on how to clean your alloys and tyre so they are looking brand new! First thing first, you need to grab all your kit. Hydro fallout, alloy, wash mitt, bucket, brushes and tree & trim cleaner. Once you've got this you are ready to start the first process.
Grab your Hydro Iron Fallout and spray this generously onto the alloy, making sure you get inbetween all the spokes, brake callipers and discs. Leave this to sit for a couple of minutes and watch the bleeding get to work. Unfortunately the smell is part of the process, we have tried to make this smell nice but it is impossible! The worse it smells, the better it is. When you can see the purple bleeding this is when you know it is working, this is breaking down all the metal fragments in the brake dust and other harmful contaminants.
Next you need to grab your Hydro Alloy! Again, apply this generously over the top of the Hydro Fallout, leave this to dwell for 2-3 minutes to allow the chemicals to really get to work. Now it's time to agitate, grab your brush, wash mitt or whatever you have and begin to work both the Fallout and Alloy cleaner into the wheels. Make sure you get in-between all the spokes and callipers if you can, don't forget the tyres too! Be sure to give these a good scrub with either a bit or a brush.
If you want to go that extra step further, grab yourself some Hydro Snow Foam and apply this generously over the top of the fallout and alloy. The idea of this is to make sure we loosen and remove as much dirt, grime and brake dust from the alloys as possible, when combined together it is a force to be reckoned with! Again, leave this to sit for a couple of minutes. Now it's time to reveal the transformation, grab your pressure washer or hose and give the alloy a good rinse to make sure you have removed all of the chemicals. And just like that, you've got some showroom worthy alloys!
Last but not least, it's time for the Tyres, grab yourself some Hydro Shine, apply a few drops onto the pad and apply to the tyre and watch them change before your eyes, just like magic. It really is that simple! I would advise doing one alloy at a time, making sure you dont rush it. Your bank account will thank you in the long run!

This all depends on how well you look after them. The more you clean them the easier it will be. I always clean my alloys every wash!
Yes, whether you are using a mitt or a sponge. Always use a different one when cleaning alloys. This is to reduce the risk of any damage to the paint work on the car!
The cleaner you keep your alloys the easier it is. If you keep them clean then you might even be able to get away with just spraying on the Fallout and Alloy, leaving to dwell for 3-5 minutes and washing off.
